Horrible fish and chips. Advertised in Ciao magazine for the $10.00 international lunch - British fish and chips. Batter so overdone I thought I was in a fast food restaurant. Chips mediocre. Poor service. Had to ask for another cup of coffee. Server acted like he wanted us to leave. Would not recommend this restaurant.

First time I had ever been there, but I had been warned, it turned out to be an interesting lunch. Manager is off the wall, but that is half the fun, and the waitress is great, a little fuel poured on the fire by her made it even more enjoyable. Not a place to go for a relaxing quiet lunch. The food is absolutely great.

i phoned to order some food and was treated so incredible rudely. i asked what the specials were and the lady was demeaning and wouldn't even tell me them. when i asked to speak to someone else the lady said she was the owner. basically i was told to never order there again..so i never will. horrible, horrible service.

Eat there almost every friday night , traditional dim sum menu as well as some americanized type dishes. they also have a regular chineese menu as well as push cart dim sum saturday & sunday Open late midnight or later depending on restaurant traffic

I was in bella roma recently, creamed my pants. Not only did i have the most tender piece of veal but the catchy italian rendition of I'm a believer by the monkees just made my stay that much better. The bonus however was this fat nerd arguing with what I perceived as a member of management. She smelled like glue and gas station brand cigarettes, her toupee kept falling off and a customer walked over it at one point. It was gross. I had the Veal parm, it was awesome. I'm going to go watch sabrina the teenage witch now peace.

my boyfriend complained cause his fries were soggy. they brought back new ones...still soggy and his ribs were fatty. he complained and the owner yelled at him saying he cooked the fries himself and they were good than he walked off to drink on the patio with his friends

Sadly they tried to pass off rotten fish as fresh fish. My poor Japanese friend popped it in her mouth and promptly spat it out. Tried to tell the manager that it was bad, but he denied it. I think my friend from Japan knows fish a little better than a Chinese manager named William. Anyway, called the health department to inform them. Kept a piece of the fish for analysis. I'm worried about others that may have actually swallowed the stuff. Hope no one gets seriously ill from it. Can't believe the manager acted like everything was fine. I'll let you all know if my friend becomes ill. EAT HERE ...

A distinct change doesn't always mean a reputable one. It is in my experience that honorable business leadership leads to a company's success. In the past Bella Roma was a glimmering reflection of this statement. Today, Bella Roma is only a hastily fading memory of what was once a great dining experience. If I was just passing through the area and had a terrible evening at this restaurant I would simply never look back. As a resident of the area for many years now, I cannot simply do that! My family has been going to Bella Roma quite often for the past 5 or so years. It had always been wonderful, with friendly service and reasonable prices.
As of recently, things are different and not in a good way. Our family favourites are no longer on the menu, including ravioli and spaghetti with meatballs. The pizza used to be great, and worth the price. But now it is overpriced, and tasteless. The food is now bland, the service slow and unfriendly, and the owner offered no discount when my sons pizza came out 30 minutes after every one elses meals.

My family & I had always enjoyed the food & service at Bella Roma.
Recently we had gone & after waiting over an hour for our meal our food was tastless & bland,not to mention no more bread sticks.
After taking a bite out of our meal we let our waitress know we did not enjoy our meals.
She brought the manager over who is now the owner.He said "you dont have a valid excuse not to eat it.You dont have to eat it but you have to pay for it & dont come back!"
